We will discuss all of the design considerations; including, hopefully, some of your ideas for the instrument.
First we will discuss the instrument you want. Some of the things that will be helpful to know are; what kind of tone are you looking for, your playing style, what type of action would you prefer, neck shape and thickness. Other useful information would be; scale length, what size of instrument you would like, string spacing, and nut width. None of these things have to be decided now. We can make decisions as we go on many of these items.
Now for the really fun part, I will want to know any design ideas you have for the guitar. This is what makes it really custom. I have full design capabilites so I can draw up any idea and we can so if it will work. No idea is too crazy. We will discuss it from a structural standpoint and see if it is feasible. I welcome any and all ideas as important to creating the instrument you envision.
Although there is a page on this website outlining basic pricing, each guitar really is unique and different and will require a unique cost. Once we have agreed upon a price, I will require half of the final cost to get started. This will allow me to order materials for your instrument. Upon completion of the instrument, I will require the rest of the agreed upon price and shipping cost before your instrument can be delivered.
